Rejuvenation Breathwork is a set of breathing exercises and rejuvenation practices
from yoga and modern science
- reduction in anxiety, insomnia, stress, and panic attacks
- improved digestive function
- reduction in sleep apnea episodes and asthma
- anti-aging of internal organs, facial skin, and cranium
The exercises help cleanse and tone the digestive system, strengthen the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and optimize the blood flow to the lungs, the cranium, the brain, the skin of the face, and the scalp. This extra blood flow assists with facial rejuvenation and brain health. Additionally, practitioners are able to raise their subtle energy (Prana) to assist with meditative states.
Rejuvenation Breathwork is based on ancient Yogic Pranayamas combined with modern scientific understanding of how oxygen and carbon dioxide moderate health and aging.

Rejuvenation Breathwork contains five main practices below and many supplemental practices that prepare practitioners to perform the entire sequence properly:
1. Internal Pressure/Vacuum Pump
2. Uddhyana Prana (Raising of Prana);
3. Agni Rising (Breath of Inner Fire)
4. One-Minute Breath (Elongation of the Breathing Pattern); and
5. Bastrika-Kumbhaka followed by the "Monk Breath" meditation (aka "the breathless state").
All four exercises are progressive, i.e. each exercise has a gentler beginner-friendly component that can be deepened with practice.
There are three levels within the Rejuvenation Breathwork Method.
Level 1 is the introductory practice. Practitioners learn foundational mechanics of these breathing exercises, their benefits, and the science behind them, as well as other common breathwork methods and exercises (such as the Wim Hof Method, Buteyko Breathing Method, and Holographic Breathwork). Level 1 is 2 to 4 hours in length.
Level 2 is for more advanced practitioners who have had some time to practice these breathing techniques and have progressed to a minimum of 30 seconds in their Control Pause (CP). At this level, practitioners are able to perform all three practices correctly. Level 2 is 12-16 hours and is taught as a full weekend training.
Level 3 is the "Facilitator's Level" for those practitioners who are interested in teaching these techniques to others. Practitioners learn how to teach these practices safely and effectively, how to explain the science of breath and introduce the meditative components to their practice. This level includes additional training in the Vedanta philosophy. Level 3 is 16-20 hours and is taught over 2 days as a full weekend training.
Slava Surya K. has been practicing yoga for over two decades and teaching yoga therapy, Vedanta philosophy, and healing arts since 2002.
He is originally from Siberia where he grew up with yoga-practicing parents.
Slava is a certified Buteyko Breathing Method instructor. He is proficient in multiple styles of breathwork and has extensive training in clinical applications of yoga and breathwork to specific conditions such as anxiety, asthma, sleep apnea, and hypertension.
Slava is the author of Threads of Light, a book of yoga philosophy. He is also a Functional Medicine Health Coach assisting individuals in their healthy lifestyle changes.
Rejuvenation Breathwork Method is the synthesis of Slava's work and personal practice. Slava's greatest desire is to share this method with others to help in their journey of healing, rejuvenation, and optimal health.
